30th Anniversary identity concept for Budapest Stock Exchange
It was an invitational competition organized by Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design Budapest and the Budapest Stock Exchange (BÉT). The goal of the competition was to refresh BÉT's visual identity in celebration of its 30th anniversary.
Preparing for this project was truly complex. The design team consisted of one teacher and six alumni students from Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design. During two workshops, we learned about the value and history of BÉT, and the employment of BÉT provided us with insights into the spirit and system of how the Stock Exchange works.

Our task was to incorporate the number '30' into the new identity. Using the basic shape of the old logo, I transformed the '0' into a dynamic and scalable element, maintaining a connection with the original design.
After that, I can readily employ this shape as a central identity element or even as a mask. I've retained the original blue color but refined it in a more elegant manner. Additionally, I've introduced sandy and grey tones to enhance the color palette. I also selected a suitable typeface for the new identity, which was GT Zirkon. This typeface exudes a graceful vibe with its modern geometric and condensed shapes.
